Born in Nevşehir in 1981, Strategy Development Department Head Murat KURT completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Kayseri and graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration (formal) in 2003. Our Department Head, who started his civil service in the Ministry of National Education in 2001, was appointed as a civil servant to the Ministry of Finance (Kayseri Treasury) in November 2005 after completing his military service between December 2004 and May 2005. After passing the Accounting Specialist exam in 2007, he worked as an Accounting Specialist and Treasury Specialist in the Kayseri Treasury between 2008 and 2014. He was appointed as the Revenue Manager to the Sivas-Zara district after passing the Directorate exam in first place in Turkey. After serving in this position for more than 3 years, he was appointed as the KSÜ Revolving Fund Accounting Manager to the Kahramanmaraş Treasury with the 2017 decree. Murat KURT, who was appointed as the Head of Strategy Development Department of Kayseri University while the interview process was ongoing after passing the Assistant Treasurer exam held in 2017, has been carrying out this duty as of 07.10.2019. During his duties in question, he carried out audits, inspections and studies on state accounting, public expenditures, public tenders and strategic planning. He is married and has two children.
