Kayseri University's 2025-2029 Strategic Plan Launch Meeting was held. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa, members of our Strategy Development Board, our Strategy Planning team, and academic and administrative unit managers attended the meeting held in our University's Lounge. In his speech at the meeting, our Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa wished our new strategic plan to be beneficial to our university, our city, and our country. Our Rector Karamustafa said, “The 3 goals, 12 targets, and 38 performance indicators related to our first strategic plan were aimed at creating more physical and infrastructure opportunities, establishing institutional capacity and culture, and ensuring recognition and branding in order to realize the mission of our University. Today, we have largely achieved these goals. We have successfully achieved the set goals by 92.6% from 2020 to the end of the first half of 2024. I would like to thank all members of our university who contributed to this success.” Our Rector Karamustafa, who noted that our 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, which started in March 2023, was completed with a participatory approach that included the views of all internal and external stakeholders; surveys, meetings, trainings, SWOT analyses and workshops, continued his words as follows: “Towards the good, to the better; by learning from the past and the present, by planning the future…” With the understanding, we have also included physical and technical infrastructure, institutional affiliation and recognition activities in our new strategic plan. In the 2025-2029 strategic plan, our university has adopted a structure that prioritizes the sustainability of the quality assurance system, namely quality assurance and accreditation in research and development, social contribution and education-training activities. As a result; we aim to make progress in terms of infrastructure and physical aspects and focus on qualitative development. We also aim to transform this success into a sustainable maturation process.” Following the speech, certificates of appreciation were presented to those who contributed to the preparation of our university’s 2025-2029 Strategic Plan.
